What Does MARPC Do?

Through a variety of activities, MARPC educates parents and community members about the prevalence, availability and signs of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, and educates youth about the risks of using alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

 

Awareness

  • Movie theater, television, radio, and newspaper advertising
  • Display boards, posters, handouts, and brochures at movie theater, high school, and university dorms
  • Sticker Shock - warning stickers on alcohol products at retail locations
